Over on our sister blogs "Life of the Party" and "The Wedding Blog" we love to feature real events. This week we were especially thrilled to feature a real wedding post that included one of our members, Nick Carver. The wedding was stunning and unusual and Nick's band played a big part in it.

If you're playing a cool event take a minute to make friends with the photographer. There are a few reasons to do this:

1. It's nice to make new friends.

2. The better your personal relationship with other vendors is, the more likely you are to get referrals from them. Everyone wants to work with others that they like.

3. The photographer may be willing to share some of the great shots with you for your profile!

4. If you have great, professional quality photos of events that you've played, whether they're weddings, parties or corporate events we can feature them on one of our blogs!

If you have a great gig or party that you want to see featured on GigMasters, leave us a note in the comments and we'll get in touch with you, or send us an email at buzz@gigmasters.com.
