Halloween Costumes for Entertainers

Every year it's the same - I start thinking about my Halloween costume months in advance. I always want to have the most creative, hilarious costume at the party (or concert or whatever) and that takes planning and effort. The problem is that I never actually do anything about it until the 11th hour, when I inevitably find myself in a huge line at a costume store doing something stupid like buying a fake mustache.

Have a Halloween gig this year? Don't be like me - try to think of a costume ahead of time.

I have played a few Halloween gigs in costume before (as Seinfeld's George Costanza one year and as the Hamburgler another) so I know it's not always a delight but it certainly helps get everyone in the spirit of the holiday.

What are you doing for Halloween this year? Are you dressing up? What's your costume going to be?

Leave a comment and let us know. And here's some Halloween costume inspiration from a couple bands that you may have heard of:

Nirvana's Kurt Cobain and Pat Smear as Barney and Slash

Pearl Jam as DEVO
