It's Wednesday, which in the wedding world of Twitter is #WW, or #WeddingWednesday. What exactly does that mean? Well, it means that on Wednesdays people involved in the wedding business send out special tweets with the hashtag (#) in front of the letters WW. Why? Well, it's just a fun way to make contact with each other, and to let other people in the wedding world know about each other.
You can follow hashtags by setting up a stream in Tweetdeck or HootSuite, or by using the search function on Twitter.com
Another great # to know about, #FF, which stands for Follow Friday. On Fridays, people in all sorts of industries give a little "shout out" to those people who they really enjoy following on Twitter. It's a great way to show appreciation for someone, and to get the word out about people or companies that you think more people should follow.
