As if the entertainer's life on the road wasn't tough enough, skyrocketing gas prices are making things even worse. Many of us are routinely paying over $4/gallon and as summer approaches many experts are predicting things will get worse before they get better.
Short of buying an electric car or maybe a hybrid to get you to the gig, there isn't much you can do about it. Really the best you can hope for is finding the cheapest gas you can. But how? Well, I'm glad you asked.
I am going to try out a few of these apps and report back. In the meantime, I wonder if anyone else has experience with these apps? How else do you survive ridiculous gas prices? Let us know in the comment section below!
UPDATE: After a couple days of experimenting with both the GasBuddy and Cheap Gas! apps, I have to agree with Mashable - GasBuddy is the best. While Cheap Gas! is certainly helpful, GasBuddy is easier to read and can list by either distance, price or type of gas (regular for me please). Sure I feel a little cheap driving a few extra miles to save a few center per gallon - but hey, times are tough.
